It's sad that most people started reading this post solely due to the title. It's sad that most people would not continue reading beyond this point solely because I'm going to talk about sustainability. It's sad that most people think that sustainability isn't cool. It's sad that most people don't understand how sustainability is life. It's sad how most people don't believe in climate change. It's sad that most people don't take the effort to carry their own water bottles instead of relying on disposable plastic cups which they know to contain microplastics. It's sad how most people don't carry their own kerchief instead of generating waste through using disposable tissue papers. It's sad how most people don't carry their own bags to the supermarkets or groceries instead of relying on the single use-plastic bags which they know to be harmful for the planet. It's sad how most people still leave their lights on when leaving the room, inspite of knowing how wasteful it is and how privileged they are to have electricity at the first place. It's sad how people continue to ignore the facts about plastic pollution and still throw away plastics at such high rates. It's sad how schools and universities don't teach and emphasise on these things. It's sad how governments don't act on the pressing issue of climate change but spend millions on militarisation and security, while the greates security that we need today is from the wrath of nature. It's sad how people look at climate change as somehthing that harms the planet instead of realizing that it is us humans who have become extremely vulnerable to this change and won't be able to mend our lifestyle to match the worsening conditions of climate, rainfall and drought, and it is this vulnerability that forces us to rethink climate change. It's sad how people still want to spend billions in colonizing other planets while abandoning mother Earth. It's sad how people don't realize that the emergence of life on this planet was one of chance and not an obvious thing.

I would like to urge everyone who's reading this to take up one aspect of your life at a time and see whether your choices and actions are sustainable on the long run, and would love to hear from someone willing to take a stance in this war to achieve sustainability.
I think that having achieved such great power over technology and production, we need to remind ourselves that, 'with great power comes great responsibility'. I'd love to hear from someone willing to take a stance in this war to achieve sustainability.
